Unique Bags Plaza

Unique Bags Plaza is on the first floor of Emerald Tower, number 136, right in Ashwini Bazar. It is a prime location but that means it gets incredibly crowded on the weekends. Our shop is filled to the brim with bags of all shapes and sizes. We have suitcases, handbags, and backpacks tucked into every available corner. Ashwini Bazar is a place where everyone comes to shop, so we see a lot of different faces every day. It’s a bit of a maze inside the tower sometimes. We don't have a lot of space for a fancy display, so we just hang things where they fit. We've been here long enough that the other shopkeepers are like family. We often share lunch or send someone for tea. The lighting in the mall isn't always the best, but we make do. People come in looking for something specific, and usually, we can find it after digging through a few piles. We don't have a computer system for our inventory; we just know what we have in stock. It’s a very hands-on way of doing things. Sometimes a customer wants to haggle, and that’s just part of the daily routine in the bazaar. We stay open as long as there are people walking through the halls. It’s a busy, tiring job but it keeps us connected to the city. Sometimes we sit on small stools near the entrance just to catch a breeze.
