You can find our fruit stall in Hiran Magri Sector-4. We are out there every day, no matter if it is hot or raining. We get our fruit from the main mandi very early in the morning when most people are still sleeping. Then we spend time setting up the crates and making sure the best-looking fruit is on top. We sell whatever is in season, so the shop looks different in the summer than it does in the winter. Right now we might have a lot of oranges, but in a few months, it will be all mangoes. The smell of the fresh fruit is quite strong and it is nice to work around. We have a simple weighing scale and some brown paper bags for the customers. It is a lot of work to keep everything fresh, and we have to throw away anything that starts to go soft. People from all over Sector-4 come to us because they know we pick out good produce. We do not have a permanent building, just a covered area that protects the fruit from the sun. Our prices change a little bit every day based on what we had to pay at the market. It is a simple business and we have been doing it for many years. We know which fruits are the sweetest and we always tell the customers the truth about what is good that day.
