Alka Food Production Confectionary

This is Alka Food Production Confectionary. We are tucked away in the Alka Hotel Compound right by Shastri Circle here in Udaipur. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always something going on outside. We mostly deal with sweets and snacks. We’ve been at this location for a good while now. The smell of sugar and flour is usually the first thing you notice when you walk toward our door. We make things in batches throughout the day. Some days are busier than others, especially when there's a festival or a big event in the city. We don't have a huge staff, just a few of us who know the recipes well. We try to keep everything fresh. If you’re at Shastri Circle, it’s not hard to find us. We don't really do fancy packaging or big displays. People usually come in because they know what we make. It’s a small operation, really. We spend most of our time in the back working the ovens. Sometimes the floor gets a bit dusty with flour, but that’s just how it goes in a bakery. We like being part of the Udaipur food scene. It's nothing too complicated, just making confectionary items for the people who live and work around here. We hope the taste stays the same every time someone buys from us. It is just honest work with sugar and dough.
