Alif Hardware

Alif Hardware is located right in the heart of Loha Bazar, directly opposite the Swapanlok Cinema. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets, especially on market days when the streets are full of people and carts. Our shop is filled from floor to ceiling with all sorts of hardware items. It’s a bit of a maze inside, and sometimes we even forget where we tucked away a specific box of bolts. The smell of iron and metal is everywhere, which is typical for a place in Loha Bazar. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing team; we just open the doors every morning and see who walks in. The counter is usually covered in catalogs and loose change. We spend a lot of time chatting with customers who have been coming to us for years. Some people just stop by to say hello or ask about the weather while they pick up a few nails. The old sign outside has seen better days, and the paint is peeling a bit, but it still gets the job done. We prefer the old-fashioned way of doing business, where a handshake and a conversation matter more than anything else. It’s a loud, messy, and honest way to make a living, and we wouldn't have it any other way. That's just how life is here across from the cinema every day.
