The Sukher Bedla Link Road is always busy. There’s always a truck or a tractor moving something. We are at number 51, and it’s a spot that stays pretty active from morning until late evening. Alankar Minerals has been part of this landscape for years. The ground around here is almost always white from the mineral dust. You get used to the smell of the earth and the sound of machinery. We have a lot of stuff piled up, and it’s a constant job keeping track of everything that comes in and out. It’s not a glamorous job, honestly. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and making sure the orders are right. We don’t have a big reception area with fancy chairs. Usually, if someone comes by, we just talk right there in the yard or near the entrance. The weather can be tough, especially when the wind picks up and blows the dust around, but that’s just the Sukher area for you. We just focus on getting the loads ready for the trucks. Sometimes the traffic on the link road makes it hard for the big vehicles to turn in, so we spend a lot of time waving them through. It’s a simple operation, run by people who have been around stone and minerals most of their lives. We don't try to overcomplicate things here. We just deal with the stone and get the job finished.
