A Von Bearing Agency

A Von Bearing Agency is basically a small shop located at 68 Hathipole Loha Bazar. Being just outside Hathipole means there is always a lot of noise and people moving about. We deal with bearings every day, which are small but very heavy parts when you have a lot of them in a crate. The shop isn't fancy at all. We have shelves filled with different sizes and types of bearings for all sorts of machinery. Most of the time, the floor is a bit stained from the grease that comes on the parts, and there is a constant smell of metal in the air. People come in from the market looking for a specific size to fix their machines, and we spend a lot of time looking through our stock to find the right match. It can get quite hot in the afternoon because the sun hits the front of the shop directly. We usually have a fan going, but it mostly just moves the warm air around. The Loha Bazar area is known for these kinds of things, so we fit right in with the other sellers. It is a simple way to earn a living, just helping people get the parts they need so they can go back to their own work. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. It’s a lot of standing and moving boxes, but that’s how it goes here in the shop.
