A V S Engineers is located right by Shastri Circle. It’s a busy intersection, so there’s always something happening outside our window, mostly honking and people rushing to work. The office is usually a bit of a mess with drawings and tools lying around on every surface. We don’t spend much time cleaning up because there’s always another job to do or a problem to solve. It’s a practical kind of place. We’ve got a few old chairs for visitors, but they usually end up holding stacks of paper instead of people. I started this because I liked the work, and it’s stayed that way ever since. We don’t have a marketing department or anything like that. Word travels by mouth around here. If we do a decent job, people tell their friends. If the fan is clicking too loud, we just ignore it. Shastri Circle is a good landmark, so nobody gets lost trying to find us. Sometimes the guys from the other shops come by to borrow a wrench or just to chat for a bit about the local news. It’s that kind of neighborhood. We aren't looking to change the world; we just want to make sure the things we build or fix actually stay fixed for a long time. It’s dusty and loud, but it’s our spot. We just keep our heads down and get through the list of tasks every day.
