A N Textile Processing

If you head toward Gopal Marble in Ambavgarh, you’ll find us at Parnkuti. We do textile processing here. It’s a bit of a messy job, to be honest. There’s always some dye or thread on the floor. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a long time. The building isn't much to look at, but it works for what we do. We have a few machines that have been running since I was a kid. They make a lot of noise, so we have to yell to hear each other sometimes. It’s mostly family working here, plus a couple of guys from the next street over. We process fabrics for different people. Sometimes it’s a big batch, sometimes just a small bit. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. If people want to talk to us, they usually just walk in or call the landline. The air smells like steam and cotton most days. We keep the doors open when it’s hot. People walking by often peek in to see what we’re doing. We don’t mind. It’s a busy place but we take our breaks seriously. We usually sit outside by the entrance for ten minutes in the afternoon. It’s hard work and your hands get tired, but it’s what we know how to do. We just keep the machines running and get the orders out. That is all we really focus on.
