Udaipur Tours & Taxi

You can find us at Plot No. 24 in the Savina Kumawat Colony, which is over in the Hiran Magri area. We are tucked away behind the GSS, so it’s a little bit of a quiet spot compared to the main roads. Udaipur Tours & Taxi is run right from here. It’s not a flashy tourist office with big posters or bright lights. It’s more of a place where we manage the fleet and keep track of all the bookings. We spend a lot of time talking to tourists and locals alike who need to get around Udaipur or go on longer trips. Being in Hiran Magri is convenient for us. We have our own way of doing things, and it’s very personal. Usually, it’s just us and the drivers coming in and out to check their daily schedules. We’ve been in this colony for some time, and the neighbors all know us. The work involves a lot of coordinating and making sure the vehicles are in good shape before they go out. It’s a lot of manual tracking and phone calls throughout the day. We don’t use any fancy corporate systems; we just keep it simple and direct. Sometimes we’re working late into the night if there’s a late tour coming back into town. It’s just how the taxi business is. We try to be honest and straightforward with everyone who walks through the door. It’s a decent living and we enjoy being part of the local community.
