Time To Tours

Our place, Time To Tours, is located at house number 24 right near the Ambamata Temple in Udaipur. This is a really busy part of town, especially during the festivals or on weekends when everyone comes to the temple to pray. You can usually hear the bells ringing from our office door. We have been here for a good number of years now, and we’ve seen the area change a lot. The streets around here are quite narrow, so parking the taxis can be a real headache sometimes, but we manage to find a spot. It's a small operation with just a couple of drivers and me handling the calls. We don't have any corporate uniforms or fancy signs. Most of the time, I’m just sitting at the desk with a cup of chai waiting for the next booking. We get a mix of locals and people visiting the temple who need a lift to the lakes or the railway station. The cars are older models but they run fine because we take care of them ourselves. It's a lot of sitting around and then suddenly being very busy all at once. We don't try to be anything we aren't; we are just a local taxi service trying to make a living in a crowded city. If you come by house 24 and don't see anyone, we are probably just out on a run and will be back soon.
