Sankat Mochan Tour & Taxi Service isn't actually in the middle of Udaipur city; we are based out in Tehsil Gogunda, specifically in the Post Dhundi area. It’s a bit of a drive to get into the main city from here, but this is where we live and work. Being out in the rural part of the district means things move a bit slower than they do in the tourist hubs. We mostly serve the local people around Gogunda who need to get into Udaipur for work or shopping or hospital visits. The office is just a simple place in the village. We know almost everyone who calls us, which makes the work feel more like helping out neighbors than running a big company. Our cars have to be tough because some of the roads out here in the hills aren't as smooth as the ones in town. We spend a lot of time doing our own repairs and maintenance because there isn't a big garage nearby. It’s a family-run thing, and we take turns driving the longer routes. We don't have a website or anything like that, just a phone number that stays on twenty-four hours a day. People know where to find us in Dhundi if they need a ride early in the morning. It’s honest work, and it keeps the food on the table. We just focus on getting people to their destinations without too much fuss or trouble along the way.
