You can find Rejoice Tours at Shop No.A-5 on Lake Palace Road. We are part of the Century Market- 32 area. It is a good spot because it is close to the water and all the big hotels. The shop is small, but we have packed it with everything we need to work. I spend my days answering the landline and talking to people who walk in from the street. It is usually quite warm in the afternoons, so the ceiling fan stays on all day long. Lake Palace Road is one of those places that never really sleeps. We handle a lot of tours for people who want to see the lakes and the old palaces. It is not a corporate thing at all. It is just us trying to make a living in Udaipur. We have a map on the wall that is starting to turn yellow at the edges. Sometimes we sit outside on plastic chairs when the shop feels too cramped. We know all the other shopkeepers in Century Market, so there is always someone to chat with. We do not have a big mission or anything like that. We just provide rides and show people around the city we grew up in. Rajasthan is a beautiful place, and we are just glad to be a small part of it. I usually bring a tiffin from home for my lunch. My younger brother helps out on the weekends when it gets extra busy with visitors.
