You can find Lake City Holidays at Shop Number 1, 32 Lalghat Street. We are directly opposite Kankarva Haveli, right by Lal Ghat. This is one of the most famous parts of Udaipur because of the lake. We’ve been here for a long time. The shop is small, but it’s in a great location. You can see the water from just outside the door. We handle all kinds of travel stuff for people visiting the city. Because we are at the ghat, we see people from all over the world. We don't use a lot of fancy equipment. We have a computer and some ledgers. Most of our day is spent talking to people who walk in off the street. We don't have a polished way of speaking. We just tell people what we know about the city and how to get around. Sometimes we recommend a boat ride or a specific place to eat because we go there ourselves. We aren't trying to sell you the most expensive thing. We just want you to see the city we live in. It’s a busy life, especially during the winter months when the weather is nice. We just keep the shop open and wait for the next person to come in. It’s a simple business and we like it that way. If you are near the haveli, you can't miss us. We are right there at the corner.
