A Dream Wedding

Our shop, A Dream Wedding, is located at 7, Gangour Ghat, right in the heart of Jagdish Chwk. If you know Udaipur, you know this area is always full of tourists and locals near the water. It is a beautiful spot, though the narrow lanes can be a real squeeze for cars. We deal with all the various things that go into making a wedding happen. It is a lot of phone calls to different vendors and checking on flowers or fabric decorations. The office is small and usually filled with samples of cloth and paper. It is a bit messy, but we know exactly where everything is located. Being near Gangour Ghat means we see the sunset over the water almost every day. That is probably the best part of the job. It is not like a big city firm. We are just local people who know how to get things done in this town. People come to us because they know we are right here in the neighborhood. We spend a lot of time walking between the office and the nearby temples to check on things. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to work by candlelight, which is just part of the charm of the old city. We do not have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just talk to people and help them plan their day. It takes a lot of patience to deal with all the little details.
