Thamerabharane Concrete

Our business, Thamerabharane Concrete, is located at 5/53-2A on Kellathattaparai Road in Pudukottai. If you are driving down that road, you will see our yard and the piles of stone sitting out front. It is a dusty place, and the sun beats down on us pretty hard most of the year. We have a small team here, and most of us have lived in Pudukottai our whole lives. We don't do anything too fancy. We just focus on getting the concrete mixed and loaded onto the vehicles. There is always a lot of shouting and the sound of engines running, so it is never a quiet day. Our office is just a small room with a fan that barely works, but it is enough to get the billing done. We don't have any big mission statements or corporate slogans painted on the walls. We just know that people need building materials and we are the ones who have them ready. Sometimes the machinery breaks down and we have to spend the afternoon covered in grease fixing it ourselves. It is a lot of physical labor and sweat, but we are used to it by now. People stop by on their motorcycles to check on orders, and we usually have a quick chat before they head back out. It is just a local operation run by regular people who know how to work with their hands and get things moving.
