Software Engineer

Down in Tuticorin, or Thoothukudi as many call it now, we have our Software Engineer base at 111A/6, Natraj Nagar. It’s in the 3rd Nagar area, near the State Bank Colony. This part of Tamilnadu is famous for the port and the salt pans, not necessarily for software, but here we are. The office is a simple building in a quiet residential street. It’s got that coastal air, though it gets very hot and humid most of the time. We keep the fans going and just focus on the code. The neighborhood is peaceful, mostly families and people who have lived here for decades. Our workspace is pretty basic. We have our computers and a couple of tables pushed together. It’s not a fancy tech hub. It’s just a place where we do our job. Usually, we’re the only ones in the street working late at night, and the streetlights outside are a bit dim. We like it this way because there are fewer distractions. Tuticorin is a hardworking town, and we try to bring that same attitude to our software work. We don't have any corporate slogans on the walls. It’s just a calendar and some notes scribbled on a whiteboard. We’ve been at this Natraj Nagar address for a long time and it’s a good spot for us. It’s honest, simple, and we just get on with things without making any big claims.
