Sj Modern Bricks

Our place is at No:5/73 on South Valavallan Street in Eral. It is a tight little street but we make it work for the business. Being in Eral means we are part of a close community. Most of the people working here live just a few streets away. We spend most of the day covered in dust and grit, which is just part of the deal when you make bricks. The street can get a bit crowded when we have deliveries coming in, so we have to be quick about loading the trucks. I grew up not far from here, so I know almost everyone who walks past the gate. We have a small area where we keep the materials and the press. It isn't the biggest operation in the world, but it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes on Sundays, I still come in just to tidy up the yard or check on the equipment. The air is always a bit salty since we aren't too far from the coast. We just do things the old-fashioned way without a lot of fuss. It is hard work and the pay is just okay, but it is steady. We don't use any fancy technology here, just the same methods we have been using since we opened. It is just a local business on a local street that tries to do things right.
