Ask Bricks

Ask Bricks is located at number 25 in Sathankulam. It is a fairly straightforward place. We have a yard where we keep all the stock, and it’s usually quite a busy spot during the daylight hours. Sathankulam isn't the biggest town, so word travels fast, and that is mostly how people find out about us. We don’t spend money on marketing or anything like that. We just focus on keeping the bricks ready for whoever needs them. The work is hard on the hands and we are usually covered in some kind of red or brown dust by noon. It’s just the nature of the business. We have a small shed where we keep the tools and a chair for when things get a bit quiet. Usually, it's just the sound of the tractor or someone loading up a small truck. We don't have a website or any social media pages because we just don't see the need for it. If people want bricks, they know to come down to number 25. We have seen a lot of different people come through over the years, from young couples starting a house to old contractors who have been in the trade longer than we have. It’s a simple life at Ask Bricks. We just show up, do the work, and go home when the sun goes down. There’s nothing fancy about it, just a lot of heavy lifting and keeping track of the inventory in Sathankulam.
