Royal Botanicals Private Limited is situated at No.3A, Toovipuram 10th Street in Tuticorin. If you have ever been to this part of town, you know it is a residential area with a lot of activity. We operate out of a small building that fits right in with the neighborhood. Tuticorin is a port city, so the air always has a bit of salt in it and the heat is pretty constant throughout the year. We do not have a big corporate lobby or anyone in a uniform at the front door. Usually, it is just a few of us handling the logistics of the botanicals we work with. The street is narrow, so when a delivery truck comes, we have to move fast to get things unloaded before we block the neighbors. Our desks are usually covered in samples and shipping labels. It gets pretty loud during the day with the bikes and cars going past the window. We spend our time checking on suppliers and making sure the boxes are packed right so nothing gets ruined in the humidity. It is honest work that keeps us busy from morning until late afternoon. We do not really have a big philosophy or anything like that. We just know our plants and we know the people who buy them. It is a straightforward business run by local people who have lived in Thoothukudi for a long time and understand how things work here.
