Mallikarjun Seeds

It's just us over here at Mallikarjun Seeds on V.V.D. Road. We've been at number 14 for a long time now. People around here know the spot. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a place where we keep the stock and talk to the farmers when they come through. Usually, the mornings are the busiest because everyone wants to get their things before the sun gets too high. We mostly deal with seeds, obviously, but there's a lot of paperwork and shifting bags involved that people don't always see. It’s dusty work sometimes. My hands are usually a bit dirty by lunch. The street outside is noisy with the traffic on V.V.D. Road, but we’re used to it. We don't have a big team, just a few of us making sure the orders go out and the inventory stays somewhat organized. It gets crowded in the small office when two or three people show up at once. We don't spend much time on decorations or making things look pretty. It's more about getting the right bags to the right people so they can go plant them. Sometimes the rain makes things difficult, but that's just part of being in this line of work. We try to keep things simple. If you walk past the shop, you’ll probably see us unloading a truck or just sitting for a minute with some tea. That's pretty much how it goes every day here.
