Thrundanbong Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are located out here in Tsurungto, over in the Tuensang side. It is a bit of a walk or a ride to get to our place at Rurur A, but we have been here for a while now. Most of us in the group are just local farmers who decided to come together as Thrundanbong Farmers Producer Company Limited. It gets quite busy during the planting season and even more when we have to harvest. The roads here aren't always the best, especially when the rains start coming down hard, but we manage to get things done somehow. We spend most of our days out in the fields or sitting around the small office we have at the BPO Shamator area. It isn't a fancy office with big chairs or anything like that. Just some desks and a lot of talk about how the crops are doing this year. We started this because it was getting hard to sell things individually and we thought maybe doing it as a company would make things a bit easier for everyone in the village. Sometimes we argue about which seeds to use or when to start the clearing, but that’s just how it is when you work with family and neighbors. We grow what we can and try to make sure nothing goes to waste. If you ever find yourself up in this part of Nagaland, you’ll see us working. We don't have a big marketing team, just our hands and the land we have been working on for years.
