Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited

We've been here in Kallakkudi for a long time now. If you look for E.176 in Sj Colony, you’ll find us easily enough. It’s a busy spot, especially with the trucks coming and going all day. Most of the people working here are from around the local area, so we all know each other pretty well. Tamil Nadu gets hot, especially during the summer months, but we just get on with the work at Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited. The building itself isn't anything fancy to look at, just a practical place where things get done. We handle the orders and make sure the cement goes out where it needs to go. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit backed up, but we usually sort it out by the end of the shift. Most folks around here recognize the name since we've been part of the landscape for years. We aren't trying to be anything we're not. It’s just a regular job for us, keeping the supplies moving for the local builders and the bigger projects too. You’ll see the staff sitting outside for tea during the breaks, just chatting about the day. It’s a bit dusty, which comes with the territory of working with cement, I suppose. We keep the gates open and the yard busy from early morning. It’s just how things work here at our spot in 621 651. No big speeches or corporate talk, just moving bags and keeping the tally right.
