We are based out of Vignesh Paradise here on Melur Road in Srirangam. It is a quiet spot mostly, though the traffic picks up sometimes during the day. Our office is in unit B-208. It feels more like a home than a big corporate space because it is an apartment building. Most of us arrive around nine in the morning and start checking the logs. We handle the local side of things for Chettinad Cement Corp.Ltd.Chennai. Srirangam is a nice area to work in, especially with the temple nearby. Sometimes the bells from the temple carry over when the wind is right. We spend a lot of time on the phone or filling out paperwork for orders. It gets pretty hot in Trichy during the summer months, so we keep the fans going all day long. Lunch breaks are usually spent at the desks or sometimes we walk down the street to grab a quick bite. We’ve been at this location for a while now. The walls are a bit plain, but we have what we need to get through the workday. It is just a handful of us here making sure the cement bags get where they need to go in this region. We aren't doing anything fancy, just the basic office work and coordination. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we take the stairs to the second floor. It keeps us moving. We also have a small balcony where we keep some plants that barely survive the heat.
