Bhaskar Public Senior Secondary School

Our school is situated in the Housing Board Colony of Tonk, which is a quiet residential neighborhood. Being a senior secondary school, we deal with older students who are getting ready for their board exams and thinking about their future. The building is a standard construction for this area, with several floors of classrooms and a staff room where we keep all the records. It is not a sprawling campus, but we use the space we have as best as we can. The atmosphere here is a bit more serious than a primary school because the students have a lot of work to do. You will often find them studying in the library or talking about their lessons in the hallway. We have the usual science labs and a small area for sports, though it is mostly for a quick game of kabaddi or cricket. Tonk is a small place, so we know most of the parents and they often drop by to see how things are going. We do not use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do; we just teach the classes and hold the exams. The school is a big part of life for the families living in the Housing Board Colony. We have seen many batches of students pass through these doors and move on to college. It is a steady, reliable place for learning without any unnecessary extras. We just work hard every day.
