Sakthi Trading Co.

Sakthi Trading Co. has been operating out of number 32 on Arunagiri Road for quite some time now. It is one of those streets where everyone knows everyone else’s business, which keeps things interesting during the slower hours. Our shop is filled with various items we trade, and sometimes it gets a bit cramped with all the new stock arriving on Tuesday mornings. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know where everything is kept, even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider who just walked in. The mornings are usually our busiest time because that is when the deliveries come in and we have to check all the crates against the lists. We don't really do much in the way of fancy advertising or social media. Most of our regulars just stop by because they were passing through Arunagiri Road anyway and remembered they needed something. The old fan in the back makes a bit of a clicking sound but it keeps the heat away during the heavy afternoons. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to suppliers and making sure things are moving along the way they should. It is steady work and it keeps us occupied from early morning until we finally lock up the shutters in the evening. There are plenty of other shops on this road, but we’ve carved out our own little corner here. We aren't trying to be the biggest, just trying to run a decent trading business and keep things simple for everyone.
