Our place is at No.8, D-4 B L N Prasad Nagar. We are over in Valasarawakkam, quite close to Chennai Medical. It’s a quiet enough spot compared to the main roads. We deal with entertainment stuff. It could be anything from a small party to something a bit bigger. We started out just helping friends and it kind of grew from there. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just us. We spend a lot of time on our phones and at our desks trying to coordinate things. Sometimes it’s stressful when a performer cancels or the weather looks bad for an outdoor thing. We just try to keep a cool head and find a backup plan. Valasarawakkam has been a good place for us to grow. We know the local vendors and where to get supplies when we're in a hurry. Our office is just a regular room where we keep all our notes and equipment. We don't use polished language because we aren't polished people. We’re just trying to do a good job so people have a good time at their events. It’s honest work and it keeps us on our toes. If you’re near Prasad Nagar, you might see us coming and going with boxes or gear. That’s just a normal day for us at Xtra. We just take it as it comes and move on.
