Sri Meenakshi Steel Industries

Located at 94, Manali, along the Andarkuppam Road, Sri Meenakshi Steel Industries is a pretty busy spot for heavy metal work. The area is very industrial, so there’s a constant hum of machinery and the sound of heavy vehicles passing by at all hours. Inside our gates, it’s mostly about handling steel in various forms like sheets and coils. We have large sections dedicated to storing raw materials and finished products that are ready to be sent out to customers. The heat in Manali can be tough, especially during the summer months when the metal gets hot to the touch and the air feels heavy. Our workers move between the machines and the storage yard all day long, wearing their boots and heavy gloves. It’s not a clean environment by any means; there’s iron dust and the smell of industrial lubricants everywhere you look. We have a small office section where the records are kept in big ledgers, but most of the action happens out on the factory floor. The road outside can get quite muddy when it rains, making it a bit tricky for the big trailers to navigate the turn into our yard. We've been here for a good number of years, and the building shows its age with some rust and faded paint, but everything still runs the way it’s supposed to. We just focus on getting the daily production numbers met and making sure the loading schedule stays on track.
