Shekina Metal Products

Shekina Metal Products is located at 176 on the Mambakkam Main Road in Medavakkam. It is a busy stretch of road, so you have probably passed it if you live around here. We have been at this number 176 spot for some time. Working with metal is not exactly a quiet job. There is always the sound of cutting or clanging going on in the background. It becomes like white noise after you have been here a few years. We do not have a fancy showroom or anything. People just come to the gate and ask for what they need. Our office is just a small room with a fan and a lot of ledgers. It gets pretty dusty with all the metal shavings, but we try to sweep up every evening before we lock up. Medavakkam has grown so much since we first started. There are way more shops and houses now than there used to be. But our place stays pretty much the same. We just do our work and do not worry about much else. We are not trying to be the biggest place around. We just want to do the job right so we can keep the lights on. It is a lot of hard work, but it is what we do. If you see the sign for 176, that is us. Come on in if the gate is open. We are usually around from morning until afternoon.
