Our office is actually inside S K Pearl Apartments over in Ponniammanmedu. We are on Sri Raman Salai at number 10/11. It’s a bit of a different setup since we are based in an apartment building, but it works for us. We do event planning and management from here. Most of our work happens at the venues, so the office is mainly for the paperwork and the initial meetings. Ponniammanmedu is a growing area, and we’ve seen a lot of changes since we started. We aren't a massive team. It’s just a few of us who know how to get things organized. We handle everything from small home parties to bigger gatherings in halls. It’s a lot of coordination, making sure the decorators and the music people show up on time. Sometimes things go wrong, like a vendor being late, and we have to scramble to fix it. That’s just the reality of events. We don't have fancy brochures. We just talk to people and show them what we’ve done before. It’s a very hands-on job. We spend a lot of time on our phones and driving around the city. Being in an apartment means we have to be mindful of our neighbors, so we keep things quiet when we are in the office. It’s a practical way to run a small business.
