L M Paper Bag World

We've been here in Uthukottai at Pv Puram for a while now. It's just us making paper bags mostly. You see a lot of plastic around, so we thought paper was better for the shops around here. The workshop is usually full of rolls of brown paper and glue. It gets a bit messy with all the cutting scraps on the floor. My uncle started this because he saw a need for it. We aren't a big factory or anything, just a small place where people come when they need bags for their stores or events. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to fix them ourselves. That's just how it goes in a small business. We make all sizes, from small ones for jewelry to big ones for groceries. People walk in from the street to ask about prices. We don't have a fancy office. Just a desk and some chairs near the entrance. Most of the day is spent checking the handles are glued right. If the handle breaks, the whole bag is useless, so we pay attention to that. It’s quiet work, but it keeps us busy. We like being part of the neighborhood here. If you're passing through Pv Puram, you'll probably see our sign out front. It’s nothing special, just a place that does its job every day. The heat in Uthukottai can be something else in the afternoons, but the fans keep the paper from flying around too much. We try to get most of the heavy lifting done early in the morning before it gets too hot.
