We are based at G-106 in the Sidco Industrial Estate in Kakkalur. This is an area where a lot of manufacturing happens, so we fit right in. Our focus is on making furniture. It’s a busy environment with the sound of saws and sanders going most of the day. We have a fairly large space to accommodate the wood and the big machines we use. The floor is almost always covered in a layer of fine sawdust, no matter how much we sweep it. We make various types of furniture pieces, mostly focusing on things that are practical for everyday use. We don't have a polished showroom with fancy lights. If you come to see us, you’re going to see the actual work being done. It’s a bit messy and loud, but that is how it goes when you’re building things from scratch. We have been in Kakkalur for quite some time and have gotten to know the other business owners in the estate. We don't do much in the way of promotional stuff. We just put our heads down and get the orders finished on time. Our workers are skilled and they have been doing this for years. It’s a straightforward business. We buy the materials, we build the furniture, and we send it out to the customers. We don't overcomplicate it. It is just about doing the job properly every day and making things that last.
