Software Engineer

Being a software engineer here in Palladam is a bit different than being in the big city. I’m located over on Natchi Muthu Gounder Street. It’s a nice enough area, mostly residential and quiet. I find that the peace helps when I’m trying to debug something that’s been bothering me all morning. My office isn't anything special to look at. It has a desk, a chair that's seen better days, and my computers. I grew up around here, so most of the people on the street know what I do, even if they don't quite get how the software part works. I spend a lot of time just typing away while the ceiling fan spins. P.Vadugapalayam is a tight-knit place. Sometimes I get distracted by the local sounds, like the neighbors talking or someone moving goods down the road. But mostly, I just stay focused on the screen. It’s not like those fancy tech parks in Bangalore. There’s no free snacks or bean bags here. Just me, some code, and maybe some local snacks from the shop nearby. I like the independence of it. If a project is finished, I can take a break and walk around. If things are busy, I stay up late. It’s just how it goes when you’re working for yourself in a small town. It is practical work and it keeps me busy enough throughout the week.
