Raja Priya Textiles Technology

Our place, Raja Priya Textiles Technology, is located at 2/347 Poothottam in Allampalayam. We are out in the Thekkalur area of Avinashi, which is near Somanur. It’s a bit of a drive if you're coming from the main city, but it's a good spot for textile work because we have the space we need. The air is a bit clearer here and we have enough room for our machines to run. We deal with the technical side of textiles, so there’s always a lot of talk about thread counts and machine settings throughout the day. It’s not a glamorous job, mostly just making sure the looms are running right and the fabric comes out without too many flaws. We have a small team of people from the local villages around Allampalayam and Somanur. Most of them have been working with textiles their whole lives, so they know what they're doing. The building we are in is very practical, with high ceilings to keep it cool during the hot months. We don’t have a receptionist or anything like that. If you walk in, you’ll probably just find one of us standing by a machine or checking a roll of cloth. We spend a lot of time maintaining the equipment because if the machines stop, the work stops. It’s a quiet kind of life out here, just focusing on the production and getting the deliveries ready for the trucks. We’ve been doing this for years.
