Callista

Callista is a small setup we have in Gandhi Nagar. Specifically, we are at No. 9/7 B in the E.B. Colony IInd Cross Street. It’s a quiet residential area, so it doesn’t feel like a big busy factory. We like it that way. The building is part of an old house that we converted. You have to go through the small metal gate to find us. Inside, it’s mostly just work tables and some shelves. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls. Just some lists of things to do and maybe a calendar from last year. The staff here are mostly from the same colony. We’ve known each other for a long time. It feels more like a workshop than a real office. We spend the whole day working on our products. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside on the steps and talk until it comes back. It’s a simple life. We don't have a website that’s very modern or anything. Most people just call us on the phone or drop by the house. The second cross street is a bit narrow, so if two cars come at once, it’s a big problem for everyone. But mostly it’s just the sound of birds and the occasional scooter passing by. We focus on the quality of what we make by hand. It takes time, and we don't like to rush things. We’re just a small group of people trying to make a living in this quiet corner of Gandhi Nagar.
