Micro Technologies

Our shop is at number 56 in the Municipal Complex. Being right by the New Bus Stand in Sathyamangalam means it is never quiet. You can hear the buses pulling in and the conductors calling out destinations all day. Micro Technologies started out quite small. We mostly fix things that people bring in, like old computers or broken parts. The space is filled with cables, monitors, and various tools. It looks a bit messy to an outsider, but we know where everything is. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. People just stand by the counter and wait while we take a look at their machines. Sometimes a repair takes five minutes and sometimes it takes all day. We just tell it like it is. If something can't be fixed, we say so. The heat in the complex can get pretty bad during the summer, so we have a couple of old table fans running constantly. We've been in this same spot for a long time now. People from the nearby villages often stop by when they come to the city for errands. We like being near the bus stand because it’s easy for everyone to find us. It is hard work and the hours are long, but it is what we do. We don't have any big plans to move or expand. We are happy right here at the bus stand.
