Manjari Garments

Manjari Garments is located at No. 2 Bhagavathi Amman Nagar. We are right in the Sirupooluvapatti area, specifically near the post office. If you go to the back side of Chikkanna College, you will find us. It is a bit of a hidden spot. The workspace is simple and does not have any fancy bells or whistles. We have a lot of sewing machines lined up. The walls are painted a light color that has faded over the years. We have a few big tables where we spread out the fabric for cutting. The college being so close means there are always students around the neighborhood. It is a busy part of Sirupooluvapatti. Inside, the air is often filled with bits of lint from the garments. We have a couple of fans that make a clicking noise when they are on the high setting. The bathroom door does not lock right, so you have to knock loud. We have a small corner where we keep the finished stock before it gets picked up. The lighting is bright enough to see what we are doing. Sometimes we listen to the radio while we work. It helps the day go by faster. The floor is usually covered in thread, no matter how much we sweep. It is just a humble garment unit doing its daily thing.
