Gracious Clothings

Gracious Clothings is located at S.F.No.- 701/3D5 in Rajiv Gandhi Nagar. We’re in the Chandrapuram East area, near the K.N.P. Colony Post. It’s a part of town that has a lot of textile work going on, so the sound of sewing machines is pretty common around here. Our workshop is a big open space filled with rolls of fabric and cutting tables. It’s always a bit of a mess with threads on the floor, but that’s just part of making clothes. We have a small group of workers who have been with us for a long time. They’re good at what they do, and we mostly just let them get on with it. We don't have a big mission statement or any corporate goals pinned up. We just try to make sure the stitching is straight and the orders are ready when they’re supposed to be. The sun hits the front of the building pretty hard in the morning, so we usually keep the shutters halfway down to stay cool. There isn't any fancy furniture in the office, just a couple of plastic chairs and a wooden desk where we keep the books. We’re just a local clothing setup trying to do a decent job for the people who buy from us. It’s hard work and the hours are long when we have a big deadline, but we’re used to it by now. We focus on the garments and the daily tasks.
