Our place is at No. 172 A in Siva Sakthi Nagar, which is part of Sirupooluvapatti near Velampalayam. It is a bit tucked away, but it is a good spot for us. We have a small unit where we handle all the garment work. There is always a pile of clothes waiting to be checked or packed. We have a few sewing machines and a big table for checking the final pieces. It is not a very large space, so we have to be careful about how we stack things. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't had the time to get around to it. We are usually here from morning until late evening. The people who work here are like family. We share our food and talk about our kids while we work. It is a friendly atmosphere even when we are in a rush. We don't do any big promotions. Most of our work comes from people we have known for a long time. We aren't a big factory, just a small setup doing our bit. We try to keep the quality decent and make sure the count is right before anything leaves the door. It is a simple life here in Siva Sakthi Nagar and we are happy with how things are. The weather gets hot but we have our fans. We just keep the machines running and hope for the best.
