We are located at No. 20 Stanes Road, right on the 2nd Street in Odakkadu. It is a busy part of the neighborhood, and finding a good spot to park a scooter can be tricky some mornings. Our office isn't anything fancy, just a place where we get the work done. We spend most of our time looking at fabric samples and talking to the people who run the factories around here. There is always a lot of dust from the road coming through the windows, so we have to wipe down the desks pretty often. The fan in the corner makes a bit of a clicking noise, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We handle the sourcing part of the garment business, which means a lot of phone calls and checking on shipping dates. Sometimes things get delayed at the port, and those are the days we stay late drinking tea and waiting for updates. It’s just the three of us in the main room usually. We don’t have a big corporate setup. Most of the people who come by are just delivery drivers or old friends from the trade. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually get our afternoon break. It’s a simple life here in Odakkadu, and we have been in this same spot for a long time now. We just try to keep the orders moving and make sure the labels are right before they go out.
