Garudaa Garments

We are located down at 5/1062 Ganga Nagar West, right in the Thottipalayam part of Poyampalayam. Most mornings start early here when the sun is just coming up over the buildings. It’s a busy spot and we spend most of our hours around the sewing tables and stacks of fabric that seem to grow every week. We aren't a big fancy outfit with a glass front, just a regular place where work gets done every day. Sometimes the power goes out or the tea man is late, but we just keep at it. Our neighbors know us by name and we know theirs. It is mostly about getting the orders sorted and making sure the thread is the right color before the machines start running. The heat in the afternoon can get a bit much, especially in the back room, so we usually leave the doors open to catch whatever breeze comes through Thottipalayam. Most of the folks working here have been with us for years, so we don't really need to talk much to know what needs doing. We just handle the garments and try to stay ahead of the schedule. If you walk past our address, you'll probably hear the hum of the machines and see a few of us taking a quick break outside. It’s just how things go around here, keeping it simple and sticking to what we know how to do without any fuss or trouble.
