Fancy Knitwear

We’ve been here at No. 4- B in Jeeva Colony Extension for a while now. Gandhi Nagar is always a busy spot, and our little corner isn't any different. Some days the traffic outside is so loud you can’t hear the person next to you, but we get the knitting done anyway. It's a regular building, nothing special to look at from the outside, but inside we have the machines going pretty much all day long. There’s yarn everywhere you look—different colors and weights just stacked up on the shelves or sitting in boxes on the floor. Most of the staff live close by, so we all know each other’s business. We start early in the morning before it gets too hot. By noon, the place is buzzing. Sometimes the power goes out, and we all just sit outside the extension and wait for it to come back on. It’s just how things go around here. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Just some desks tucked in between the rows of machines where we keep the paperwork. Usually, there's a tea stall guy who comes around twice a day, and that's when everyone takes a break. We handle a lot of different knit items, mostly just whatever the current orders are. It gets dusty, and the floor is always covered in bits of thread, but we sweep it up at the end of every shift.
