Our office for Deepa Lakshmi Export Pvt. Ltd. is located at No. 3, Angalamman Nagar in the Vijaya Puram area. It’s a bit away from the main town center, so it’s usually pretty quiet around here. The building is a simple one-story structure with a small yard in the front. We use part of the space for our office and the rest for storing and checking the goods we export. It’s not a high-tech facility by any means. We do a lot of the work by hand, especially when it comes to checking the quality of the items before they are packed. The people who work here are all from the nearby area. We know each other's families and often share stories over lunch. Sometimes the goats from the neighbor’s house wander into our yard, and we have to shoo them out. It’s a very relaxed environment compared to a big city office. We don't have any marketing people or a fancy brand image. We just do our work and try to make sure everything is shipped out on time. The process involves a lot of counting and double-checking lists. It can be tedious, but it’s important to get it right. We’ve been in Vijaya Puram for a long time and we like the pace of life here. It’s a modest business, and we are happy to keep it that way while serving our clients as best as we can without making any big promises.
