Craft Knit Garments

Our place, Craft Knit Garments, is out in Veerapandi. The address is SF No. 4/684 on Nochipalayam Road. It is a bit of a drive if you are coming from the main town, but we are right there in the Veerapandi Post area. Since we are on Palladam Road, there are always a lot of trucks and vehicles passing by. This is not a typical retail shop like you would see in a big shopping mall. It is more about the garment work and the knitting side of things. We have machines and tables set up for handling the fabric and the finished pieces. It can get quite loud with the equipment running, and the air is usually full of lint from the yarn we use. We spend our days making sure the orders are moving along and that the items are made correctly. It is a practical environment. We do not have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. If you come by, you will probably see us in the middle of working on a batch of garments. The floor is concrete and we have big industrial lights. It is a lot of physical labor, moving boxes around and checking the seams on the shirts. We have been at this location for a while now. The people who work here are mostly from the surrounding villages. We just focus on getting the garments finished and out the door to wherever they need to go next. It is honest work in Veerapandi.
