Shivla Group

Shivla Group is tucked away at No. 34 Kamatchi Amman Koil Street, right behind the old bus stand. It’s a very busy part of town so there is always noise from the buses and people walking past our door. We like being near the bus stand though because it makes it easy for our workers to get here from different parts of the city. We do all sorts of building and project work around here. Most days start early before the sun gets too high and we try to get the heavy lifting done while it’s still a bit cool. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we keep our tools and files. We don’t have a big marketing department or anyone to answer the phones with a scripted greeting. If you call, you’ll probably just talk to one of us who is currently holding a tape measure. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and everyone around Kamatchi Amman Koil Street knows who we are. It’s a good community. Sometimes we have to deal with the rain slowing down our outdoor work, but that’s just how it goes in this business. We don't promise miracles, we just show up and do the work that needs doing. It’s a practical way to earn a living and we enjoy seeing a building go from a hole in the ground to something people can actually use. We keep our tools organized and our plans simple so everyone knows what to do.
