Elavanthi Agro Developers Private Limited

We are located right behind the Usha Textile Mills on Dharapuram Road. It’s a bit of a dusty spot in Chandrapuram, but it works for us. Elavanthi Agro Developers Private Limited is basically me and a couple of others trying to manage some land and agro projects. Being at 694/1, we’re a bit back from the main road. You can hear the noise from the mill all day long, which takes some getting used to. We spend most of our time dealing with soil, seeds, and the local workers. It’s not a desk job. There is always something that needs fixing, like a fence or a pump. We don't have a big marketing budget or a shiny office. Just a small room with a fan and some chairs. We usually meet people out in the field anyway. It’s honest work, even if it gets exhausting when the sun is high. We keep track of the rains and hope for the best with the crops. My uncle used to do this before me, so I just took over the reins. We handle the paperwork in the evenings when it’s quieter. Sometimes the power goes out, so we keep plenty of candles and flashlights around. It’s just how life is here. We do our best to keep the agro development moving forward without too much fuss. Every season brings a new set of challenges but we just take them as they come.
