Variety Entertainment is located over on Kotakommala Street in Tirupati. The address is Door No 10-3-221A, right in the middle of Tk Street. If you’ve ever walked down this street, you know how busy it gets with all the pilgrims and locals moving about. Our space is pretty basic, just a room where we keep our stuff and talk to people who walk in. We do all kinds of entertainment things, mostly for local gatherings and small events. We don’t have a website that looks like a corporate company because we are just a local team. Most of our day is spent talking to different artists or checking on equipment. Tirupati is a place that never really sleeps, so we end up working odd hours quite often. The street is narrow and it can get quite dusty, especially in the summer months. We keep a few chairs for visitors and a desk that’s seen better days. It’s not a fancy setup, but it works for what we do. We know the local rhythm here, like when the crowds will be thick and when it’s better to move our gear. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do; we just show up and get the job done. Sometimes we grab a coffee at the corner stall and talk about the next job. It’s a practical business run by people who grew up around these streets. We just try to stay organized amid the daily bustle.
