Kartikeya Travels

Kartikeya Travels is situated right at Leela Mahal Circle. It is a very busy spot with buses and cars going in every direction all day and night. Our office is a small room where we keep our booking registers and a few chairs for people to sit while they wait. It is not a very polished place, just a practical spot to run the travel business. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to drivers or checking the schedules for the different routes. The noise from the circle is constant, and you can always hear the traffic police whistles and the engines idling outside. We handle the local travel needs and help people get their tickets sorted out. There are always people coming in and out, some carrying heavy bags and others just asking for the next bus time. We have a small desk where we keep the records and a calendar to track the dates. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use torches to see the paperwork. It is a lot of work to keep things moving on time, especially with the road conditions and the traffic around the circle. We don't do much in the way of promotion. Most of our customers are people who are already passing through the area and need a way to get to their next destination. We just keep the office open and wait for the next traveler.
