Down in Tuticorin, you’ll find us at 357/E, Lion's Town, 5th Street. The Spic Nttf Training Centre is basically a place where people come to learn how to actually use their hands. It’s not like a regular school with quiet classrooms. There is usually the sound of machines or someone explaining how a part fits together. We’ve got benches and tools all over the place. It’s a bit oily sometimes, and you’ll definitely find some metal shavings on the floor. That’s just part of the learning process here. We don't have a big budget for fancy furniture, so everything is very practical and built to last. The staff here are mostly folks who have spent years in shops and factories themselves. We don't use big words or try to sound like a university. We just show people how the work gets done. The 5th Street location is pretty convenient for everyone to get to. It’s a bit of an older building, and it can get quite warm during the day, but we keep the windows open. We don't really do "marketing." People come here because they want to learn a trade and get a job. It’s an honest place where hard work is expected. We’re just here to pass on what we know to the next group of workers. It’s messy, it’s loud, and it’s a real training environment.
