Sgr Fabrication Works

Sgr Fabrication Works is located at Door No. 15 in Lakshmi Hayagreeva Nagar. We are right over in Adambakkam, not too far from Saint Mark Church. It is a nice enough neighborhood, and we have been part of it for some time now. Our shop is the kind of place where the door is always open, mostly because we need the ventilation when we are doing a lot of welding. You can hear the sparks hitting the floor from the street. We do all sorts of metal jobs, from basic window grills to more complicated frames that take a few days to get right. It is a lot of standing on concrete floors, which can be hard on the legs by the end of the shift. We have a small corner where we keep our drawings and a thermos for tea. There isn't any big signage or flashing lights out front, just the name of the shop and the work we have lined up. We know the neighbors, and they know the sound of our grinders. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when a big order comes in and we have to shuffle the equipment around to make space. But we manage it. It is just about getting the work out the door so the customer is satisfied and we can move on to the next thing. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a showroom; we just let the finished metal work speak for itself. It is a practical life.
