Saicha Computing Technologies

If you walk down North Car Street in Tirunelveli Town, you'll find us at number 53. It’s a very old street, lots of history and always crowded because of the temple nearby. Saicha Computing Technologies is tucked in between a couple of other shops that sell clothes and sweets. We deal with all sorts of computer parts and software issues. The building has high ceilings which is nice because it gets really hot in Tirunelveli during the summer months. We have two ceiling fans that never seem to stop spinning. People come in with old desktops that are covered in dust, or students from the local colleges needing their projects recovered. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just making sure the computers in town keep running. Sometimes the internet goes down and we just sit and talk until it comes back. The street outside is always loud with bells and horns, but inside it’s mostly just the sound of fans and keyboard clicking. We’ve thought about moving to a more modern area, but the regulars know where we are and it's convenient for them. It’s easier for them to find us here on North Car Street. It feels right to be part of the town’s daily bustle. We stay open until late evening, usually closing up when the street starts to quiet down a bit and the temple lights come on.
